new york-based artist alejandro durán photographs washed up litter in his native mexico to raise awareness about the necessary change in our relationship between consumption and waste.  the collection of found objects is styled beautifully, but still embodies an element of sadness.

in his tree, line series, photographer zander olsen wraps his subjects in white cloth to emphasize the relationship between trees and the horizon as perceived by the lens’ point of view.  the end result is pretty striking.
